T’AMO is a declaration of love for our territory and our traditions.
NURAGUS
Nuragus is an ancient variety of Sardinia that together with the Cannonau vine represents the history and tradition of Sardinian viticulture. Production is concentrated in the province of
Cagliari and Oristano (98.5%). Its ripening is late, especially in temperate areas. It is a vine of great vigor. The large cluster, tight and often winged, haslarge and fleshy berries. The skin, when
ripe, has an evident intense yellow color. It does not have particular pedoclimatic needs and adapts well in the different areas of cultivation. It israised in expanded espalier forms. It reaches
maturity in the second decade of September; in some cases the harvest is anticipated for the production of fresh wines and sparkling wines.
TASTING NOTES
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, has delicate aromas of green apple, melon, pear and hazelnut. The taste is characterized by a soft attack and pleasant acidity that gives freshness.
Alcohol: 12,50% vol.
Serving Temperature: 8-10° C.
IT’S BEST ENJOYED WITH…
Very appreciated as an aperitif and is particularly suitable for the first dishes of vegetables and fish cooked in a simple way (in salt crust, roast).
THE VINEYARDS OF T’AMO
They are located in the hills in the municipality of Mogoro and neighboring countries. The soil is on average calcareous, loose deep, consisting in part of quaternary sands. The climate is
Mediterranean with mild winters and hot summers, mitigated by the mistral wind. Average annual rainfall of 500 mm. The harvest is manual with mashing of the grapes within a few hours from the harvest. The yield per hectare is 100/110 q.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Made of steel, with controlled fermentation temperature and use of selected yeasts. It always evolves into steel and refinement takes place on fine lees in batonnage for about 40 days.
BOTTLING AND DEVELOPMENT
Sterile under pressure of nitrogen. If stored in optimal conditions is excellent even after two years-old.

I paired it with pizza, and it was a perfect match. If you want a wine that says “I love you” without shouting, this is it.
